On June 20th, Bob will be presenting "The ABCs of Trusts" to the Suffolk County Estate Planning Council at their monthly breakfast meeting at the Smithtown Sheration.
Lara recently spoke before the Tax Law Committe of the Nassau County Bar Association on the topic of "Innocent Spouse", focusing on the latest pronouncement from the IRS which significantly modifies the rules relating to Equitable Relief. The meeting was a joint meeting with the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee and was attended by attorneys who practice in both areas.
Neil was a featured presenter at the American Heart Association Long Island Annual Invitational Conference on Estate Planning and Administration. The May 1st presentation which took place at the Nassau County Bar Association was titled "Estate Planning for 2012 and Beyond" and featured a discussion of the current estate planning opportunities available as well as a look at what might be on the horizon for estate planners.
